Riddle Lake (Non-Private Small group Adventures)

Hiking in Yellowstone National Park is one of the best ways to see Yellowstone up close and personal! Come explore the sights and sounds of this amazing place and choose from a variety of hiking opportunities. Shurr Adventures hiking tours are with our Professional Naturalist Guides who will help show you the wonders of Yellowstone National Park. While hiking, our guests will learn about the flora and fauna, whilst enjoying the peace and solitude of America’s first National Park. Shurr Adventures takes up to only  8 people in a group, but can accommodate larger private groups upon request.

Riddle Lake (5 miles)

This is an excellent adventure by itself or as part of our kayak/hike combo. This non-private small group hike starts near 8,000 feet crossing the Continental Divide, and we only gain 100 feet in elevation. This classic Yellowstone forest hike meanders thru the lodgepole pine forest and passes many meadows on the way to the beautiful riddle lake. This is a great high altitude hike without the effort and all of the enjoyment.

Trip Location 3 miles south of Grant village on east side of road

Trip Difficulty: Easy to moderate (4.8 miles 100 ft elevation)

Non-Private Trip Cost: $135 per person for the hiking tour only and 115 if you add this to the kayak tour making the combo tour (min 2 person)

Trip Times: 2 pm

Min. Age: 7

Minimum 2 people to book

Group size: no more than 8 people from different groups (this is the smallest group size in the park to enhance our guests experience.
